Early Labor

I realize that my timing isn't really "my" timing in writing this book, there is much at work in this process far beyond my "control" or even influence.  As I prioritize it's being the next Highest for attention and intention, I also realize that the allocated time and energy given to writing your manual will be greatly influenced by many variables.  For some, it will be like an induced labor, scheduled and and set to occur during a hopeful convenient time.  Others, it will because there is no waiting for more time, it is now or die trying to run the ship w/o focus on the purpose of your work.  Right now, I see my efforts as contractions that are coming yet still with energy for much more in between them.  Still "running the office" so to speak.  Or like driving my then 13 year old to the bowling alley while having early labor contractions with child #3.  I wonder though, will there come a season in this process that is transition and pushing?  Will you, after contemplating and evaluating, have to set aside a day (or more) to actually push the authentic design of your expression into a manifested reality.  I think for me, it will come...and for now, I'll drive my babies to various events, be available to respond to the daily needs in my life all the while carrying the concepts of this baby...sharing the manifestation in these easier contractions as I have them.  Each of my labors were very different, some slow and "easy" with shorter intense moments.  Others fast, furious, and intense through the whole process.  I'm trusting this book to demand the intensity increase as it's time comes and it serves the Highest of all everywhere.  Hoping I recognize and honor those cues as I receive them.

It's a great day at...

Ever heard the saying "God is in the details"?  It's the little things that make a big difference  yes?  I believe that looking closely at the intentions of the details effects the outcome.  What DO you want your phone greeting to be?  It does matter.  There is something to be said for consistency and also beautifully important to be fresh, connecting with the present.  As I've trained staff in our details, I train on the intention behind the scripts, the procedures (little quick ones and big ones) so that they can completely buy into and get behind the effort.  Do I want someone to pretend to be me in the execution?  Not on your life.  It would be completely ineffective and the authenticity, the opportunity to truly connect, would be LOST.  The expression of the procedure, the words, the intention must be authentic to be optimally effective.
Long ago, (mid 90s) when I was first asked to teach for the GA Council of Chiropractic, one of my favorite CA trainers was Ms. Sherry Hodge.  Sherry had short, platinum hair with a "rat tail", she was about 5' tall, but wore killer heals...she made the group stand up and shout and we EXPERIENCED her work.  It was powerful and effective and I, in my innocence and ignorance, thought in order to deliver a powerful moment for the GCC, I needed to be more like Sherry Hodge.   Didn't take me long to learn that there was no way I could pull off being Sherry.  Quite promptly, the intention of the work was, in order to be most effective, adapted to be expressed by me, as I knew me then, as I could connect with my class participants, could connect with my Highest and deliver the best in those moments.
For years, our office answered the phone "it's a great day at..." and our newest staff says "it's a wonderful day at..."  Fresh, love it.
Are you intentional about how you greet people?  Is it random or clearly defined w/ intention?

Highest Execution

As evaluation and reflection is part of our beginning processes, opening the door to potentials and even hidden agendas, let's also invite participation of the ones who will be part of expressing your design.  Some of the very same professional and personal questions need to be asked of support staff, spouses, and depending on your model of practice, your patients (clients, practice members, however you name the people you adjust).  I'd suggest the most important invitation is to your own Innate, asking for the optimal connect to the Highest part of your design and the ability to recognize the nudges, promptings, and pieces of your practice that need your intention and attention.  (GET ADJUSTED REGULARLY!)  As we open ourselves to the collaborative effort, we will posture ourselves as powerful participants in the Highest execution of your authentic chiropractic experience.  In my own life, I refer to this as Spirit led, following my Leader.  Amazing things happen and unfold as I recognize a design, develop the skills, acquire the tools, and remain connected to a collaborative effort w/ the Highest.  I believe in a plan, bigger than my own, for the expression of my optimal authentic experience and I trust my understanding of it to be edited along the way.  If I set it in stone, no room for expansion, simplification, collaboration, or purification, I limit the potentials...and therefore express less than I'm called.  Is it my "less" bad?  No way, I still contribute and impact in good and right ways, BUT is it optimal?  No way to that too, I limited it to be mine, mine alone.

Who will you bring into your conversations and evaluations?

(expansion: who do you trust to be a part of the plan, what do you believe about what you are currently doing and do you feel the need to defen)
